For something different to do, we took the kids to a farm this past weekend. Its actually an apple orchard but they have other fruits too. They have a schedule of when you can come and pick things. Things like, apples, berries and pumpkins. This weekend they were open for blackberry picking. I guess for the best berries you need to get there right when they open. Well, we arrived in the afternoon. We had a hard time finding ripe berries but still had fun looking through all of the bushes. Nicholas in particular was interested in the fact that they grow on bushes. Tyler had the most luck finding the ripe berries but we still only left with a handful. Next time we will get there early!!

We took a walk over to the pumpkin patch to see how the pumpkins were coming along. They were mostly still green.
