At The Zoo With Rachel, AKA Rangel

This past weekend we were blessed with a visit from our favorite person, Rangel!! Okay so her name is Rachel but the kiddos much prefer to call her Rangel. We enjoyed Saturday evening having girl talk while the kiddos were in bed and then we headed to the Cheyenne Mtn. zoo on Sunday morning. I always enjoy getting together with Rachel and catching up on life. She is one of my oldest and dearest friends. She is also really amazing with children. I love listening to her answers when my little ones ask her questions. She has the best answers!! We had a wonderful time and hope to see her again soon.

Our three little ones had their faces painted. They were really cute....until it rained.

John the giraffe.

Faith the butterfly.

Nicholas the tiger. Grrrrr.

This bird made itself at home on Tylers shoulder.

Our nephew Jon also had a bird come and sit with him.

And this was John after the rain. LOL!!! As the rain would fall on his face he would rub it. After a while he was just smearing it everywhere. Silly little boy.

Eleven Years And Counting

On June 13th Jason and I celebrated our eleventh wedding anniversary. We left the kiddos with a very brave Grandma and Grandpa and took off for four days. We had no itenirary or for sure plans. I am more of a planner than Jason so I was a little out of my comfort zone. This is just one of the many reasons why this man is so good for me :o) We ended up staying in the southwestern part of CO and seeing some very beautiful places.

I feel like the luckiest girl in the world to have Jason as my partner in this life. Happy Anniversary my love!!

Happy Sixth Birthday

Nicholas celebrated his sixth birthday this past weekend. This handsome boy couldn't be any happier to be six years old. He is telling everyone"I'm six now. That means I get to go to Kindergarten!" That is true. He does! Lol. For his birthday we took the kiddos to a water park and had burgers at Red Robin. When the staff came out to sing to him, the biggest smile ever came across his face. That smile makes my heart melt.

These goggles just made me laugh. I'm not so sure how good he could actually see out of them.

Happy 6th Birthday Nicholas!! We love you.

Note To Self...

Do not set up the pool until you are ready to fill it. It WILL blow away. Thankfully our basketball hoop was able to catch it for us. I always knew that we had some pretty harsh wind out here but, never did I think it was this strong. I made our pool fly!! Haha.

This isn't exactly a light pool. Then you add all the poles, the ladder (that was in the pool), and the filter.

We were laughing hysterically when we found the pool like this. Priceless.

First Recital

Faith had her first "real" ballet recital this weekend. By real I mean not at her dance studio but at the performing arts center. On that huge stage! The ballet was the seasons of change and she was winter. She did great and actually danced her whole part as taught. Sometimes she likes to get a little silly and do her own thing but not this day. Yeah! We are so proud of our tiny dancer. Great job Faith!!

The girls had quite a bit of down time before the recital so this is how they passed the time.
