Basketball Stud and Little Cheerleader

Tyler just started his spring season of basketball. He loves to play and is actually becoming quite the little basketball player. The newest development is how much Faith enjoys watching him play. She yells "Tywer!!" and squeels when he gets the ball. This past weekend he took a pretty good fall and took a minute to get up. She was so concerned for him. I thought she was going to run out on the court to see if he was okay. I got this picture of them before the game this past weekend. Looks like Tyler has a new cheerleader.

Valentines Day

Long gone are the days of quiet, romantic candle light dinners for Valentines Day. So, last year we started a new tradition. We gather the whole family around the table and have a fun dinner with candles, balloons and small gifts. We follow dinner with a movie and popcorn. This year our movie was Meet the Robinsons. It is a very good movie for those that are adopted or have adopted children. I love our new tradition and hope to be able to celebrate this way for many years to come.

Happy Tenth Birthday Tyler

We just celebrated Tyler's tenth birthday on February 7th. We took him and three friends to Mr. Biggs in Colorado Springs. They had a great time! Although I had a wonderful time I couldn't help but to think about how fast he has grown up. Made me a little sad! I have always tried to cherish every moment with him but, now more than ever I don't want to take our time together for granted. They DO grow up way too fast.

New To The Blog World

I have decided to join the rest of the world with a blog. Its about time right?
I think it will be a much easier way to share whats going on with our friends and family. Not a new revelation. Just new to me!!
