Visit from Grandpa John

Grandpa John came to visit! He drove all the way from Georgia for this special visit. The kiddos loved hanging out with him and Jason enjoyed their time fishing. An entire day of fishing and gold panning = a day of heaven for the Pitts boys :o) It was wonderful to see Grandpa John and we are planning a visit to GA in the near future.

Pikes Peak View

This is the first time Jason or I have been to Pikes Peak since we were kids. It was surprising how much I didn't remember. Or, maybe they have change it a LOT! Either way it was fun to take the kids to the top of Pikes Peak.

Yes, we did have a donut. Not as yummy as I thought it would be but hey, the kids thought it was great! Thats all that counts.

Some cute looking kids at 14,110 Ft.. Beautiful Day!!

State Fair Time

Time for the fair already! This year we got a babysitter for the littles and ventured out to the fair with tickets to the demolition derby. Talk about fun! Tyler was able to ride some rides before the demo derby and a few after too. We met some of Jasons family there before we went to the derby and loved seeing them. The demolition derby was awesome. Tyler and I had never been to one before and we both loved, loved, loved it! We can't wait to go again.

Jason and Tyler in the wrong seats. We hung out with our family as long as possible but we eventually had to move to our assigned seats.

Craziness!!

Back To School

Here we are again at the beginning of a new school year. Tyler started 6th, Nicholas is in Kindergarten and John is in Pre-K. Things are a little different this year though! Both Nicholas and John are in the a.m. classes and are riding the bus to and from school. Noticeably missing is big brother Tyler who used to walk them home from the bus stop. Tyler entered middle school this year! Jason and I made the decision to home school him. Big decision to make but so far, its been good. Faith missed the pre-k cut off this year which was pretty disappointing since she is ready to go. Since I am homeschooling Tyler I decided to just do some pre-k stuff with her too.
We are all looking forward to a wonderful school year!

Nicholas on his first day of Kindergarten. So excited!

John on his first day of Pre-K.

The boys waiting at the bus stop in the morning.

Our bus stop isn't exactly close to our house. So, we came up with a fun and quick way to get there. Big brother gets to drive them on the four wheeler! Faith and I have been known to hop on too :o)

This was the first time Tyler drove them up to the bus stop. They thought it was soooo great!

Tyler working on his first day of school. He decided to take advantage of the fact he can wear comfy clothes to his "classroom".

I was told about this great web site for preschoolers. Faith loves using it.

Happy new school year!!

Football Fun

Tyler had his first football game of the season today. The team was pretty much awesome! They have been practicing five days a week for a month now and all of their hard work paid off. This is Tylers first year playing and he has done great. His speed got him recognized before he even started practices. With his speed he has been able to play on the defense and offense. Today he even sacked the quarter back! Yeah!

Our sweaty boy after the game :o)

Princess Party

These days Faith is obsessed with any and all things princess. So of course we had to celebrate her 4th birthday in princess style! She invited all of her best girlfriends and dressed up in her favorite princess dress. Can you say, In Heaven?! Yes, that is where she was. It was so fun to watch all the girls play and enjoy their time together. I'm still finding it hard to believe that my baby is four. But, I know we have many more wonderful girly years ahead of us!

Hey Good Lookin'

Say hello to the new Tyler...

We have been trying to get this child to cut his hair for over a year now. All that it took was a few days at track that were over 100 degrees and he was ready to get rid of the shag. Its so good to see those beautiful eyes again! I'm not sure that he will keep it short but hey, I'll enjoy it while its here.
