Back To School

Here we are again at the beginning of a new school year. Tyler started 6th, Nicholas is in Kindergarten and John is in Pre-K. Things are a little different this year though! Both Nicholas and John are in the a.m. classes and are riding the bus to and from school. Noticeably missing is big brother Tyler who used to walk them home from the bus stop. Tyler entered middle school this year! Jason and I made the decision to home school him. Big decision to make but so far, its been good. Faith missed the pre-k cut off this year which was pretty disappointing since she is ready to go. Since I am homeschooling Tyler I decided to just do some pre-k stuff with her too.
We are all looking forward to a wonderful school year!

Nicholas on his first day of Kindergarten. So excited!

John on his first day of Pre-K.

The boys waiting at the bus stop in the morning.

Our bus stop isn't exactly close to our house. So, we came up with a fun and quick way to get there. Big brother gets to drive them on the four wheeler! Faith and I have been known to hop on too :o)

This was the first time Tyler drove them up to the bus stop. They thought it was soooo great!

Tyler working on his first day of school. He decided to take advantage of the fact he can wear comfy clothes to his "classroom".

I was told about this great web site for preschoolers. Faith loves using it.

Happy new school year!!

Looks like they are all enjoying it! What program are you using with Tyler? We are using Connections Academy with Ian and loving it so far! What is the website that you are using with Faith? Isabelle just missed the age cutoff for Kindergarten so we are doing a lot at home with her too!
Have fun!

Hey Kimberlee,
We are using Connections Academy with Tyler too! The first few weeks were ROUGH. I think just having me go from Mom to Learning Coach (for a few hours) was really hard for him. Corrie refered me to starfall.com, it has been so good for Faith. Actually my son that is in a regular brick and mortar Kindergarten loves it too. It is helping him learn how to read! If you haven't already, make sure to take a look at it.
So glad to be in touch with another homeschooling Mom!!
