G.I. John's 6th Birthday

Happy 6th Birthday to John, aka G.I. John.  He wanted to go military style for this years party. Really, do they get much cuter than this kid?! He enjoyed all the tanks, hero's medals and the cake of course. Happy Birthday little man.

Speech Graduate

After just eight short months Faith has graduated from speech therapy! She is going to miss her weekly trips to see Miss. Catherine but she has a wonderful new way with words. Its actually been entertaining to listen to her talk to her brothers. She will over accentuate her R's and Sh's, trying to tell them how to say certain words. Today it was SHirt. Sounded great! When she was first tested she was one and a half to two years delayed and as of graduation last Wednesday she is age appropriate. We are very proud of her.

Happy Easter

It was a beautiful Easter in Colorado this year. No snow for the first time in a few years. The kiddos enjoyed Easter egg hunts at home, church and the Grandparents house. Lots of egg hunts equals lots of goodies :o) It was a beautiful day to celebrate the resurrection of our Lord.

Happy Easter!

Prince or Princess?

We had our twenty week ultrasound a little over a week ago and it revealed that we will be blessed with another little boy. Yes, that does make four boys for us and we are all very excited! I think Faith might have a hard time finding a boy to date that has enough courage deal with all of her brothers and Dad but I see this as a plus :o) Our little guy looked wonderful and measured just where he should. We are so thankful.

I love how his little knee is up to his belly

Itty bitty cute foot

No doubt, it's a boy!

20 weeks and still growing!

Expanding

Let the belly pictures begin...

I am 17 weeks pregnant and feeling good. I'm pretty sure I was a bit further along with Tyler before I actually had a baby belly (like 24 weeks). I was also 12 years younger but hey who's counting? Although my belly is bigger a little early, I welcome this bump (and the ugly maternity clothes) wholeheartedly. We have our 20 week ultrasound in early March to make sure everything looks good and hopefully we will be able to find out what we are having. I am praying the baby will not be shy :o) Very excited for that!

Birthday Boy

For Tyler's birthday this year he decided to spend the day in Colorado Springs. That evening we met up with the Grandparents for a fun little birthday celebration. His birthday actually fell on Superbowl Sunday this year so we ended up having two celebrations. Tyler didn't mind that at all :o)

And 0ur celebration at home...

Happy 12th Birthday Tyler!! We love you!!

Our Miracle

Yes, you are reading that right. Faith IS going to be a big sister and we couldn't be more excited. We truly believed we were done adding to our family so this came as a huge surprise to us. The best kind of surprise!

Here is an ultrasound picture of our little peanut taken at 13 weeks. How cute is that leg?! I am so so very happy to have made it through the first trimester and am praying for the continued health of our little one and for myself. The baby is due to arrive in late July.
Tyler, Nicholas and John are hoping for a boy and Jason and Faith are hoping for a girl. Either way I know this baby is going to be very loved.
We praise God for this life He has given us. We have been blessed beyond measure!

Merry Christmas

Bammie is ready to get the presents going!

John is very serious when it comes to opening presents :o)

Faith is such a girl when it comes to opening her gifts. I'm pretty sure I just ended up telling her to just rip it open. Silly girl.

Its the beloved Rockstar Jacket. Just what he wanted!

Just like last year, Bailey just had to be in the middle of things. She loved it!

Nicholas waiting patiently to start opening his gifts. That took some serious self-control.

Merry Christmas with love from the Pitts family.

Boo! Halloween 09'

Garden of The Gods

In the fall the kiddos and I took a trip up to Colorado Springs to visit the Garden of the Gods.
This was our little ones first time ever seeing them and they were quite impressed. They all had fun climbing around on the huge red rocks. I really is a very beautiful place to visit.

I wish I had a picture of Faith to post from this trip. Unfortunately, she always seemed to run when she saw the camera come out. I guess she wasn't feeling like her normal diva self that day.

Visit from Grandpa John

Grandpa John came to visit! He drove all the way from Georgia for this special visit. The kiddos loved hanging out with him and Jason enjoyed their time fishing. An entire day of fishing and gold panning = a day of heaven for the Pitts boys :o) It was wonderful to see Grandpa John and we are planning a visit to GA in the near future.

Pikes Peak View

This is the first time Jason or I have been to Pikes Peak since we were kids. It was surprising how much I didn't remember. Or, maybe they have change it a LOT! Either way it was fun to take the kids to the top of Pikes Peak.

Yes, we did have a donut. Not as yummy as I thought it would be but hey, the kids thought it was great! Thats all that counts.

Some cute looking kids at 14,110 Ft.. Beautiful Day!!

State Fair Time

Time for the fair already! This year we got a babysitter for the littles and ventured out to the fair with tickets to the demolition derby. Talk about fun! Tyler was able to ride some rides before the demo derby and a few after too. We met some of Jasons family there before we went to the derby and loved seeing them. The demolition derby was awesome. Tyler and I had never been to one before and we both loved, loved, loved it! We can't wait to go again.

Tyler on a ride before the derby.

Jason and Tyler in the wrong seats. We hung out with our family as long as possible but we eventually had to move to our assigned seats.

Craziness!!

Back To School

Here we are again at the beginning of a new school year. Tyler started 6th, Nicholas is in Kindergarten and John is in Pre-K. Things are a little different this year though! Both Nicholas and John are in the a.m. classes and are riding the bus to and from school. Noticeably missing is big brother Tyler who used to walk them home from the bus stop. Tyler entered middle school this year! Jason and I made the decision to home school him. Big decision to make but so far, its been good. Faith missed the pre-k cut off this year which was pretty disappointing since she is ready to go. Since I am homeschooling Tyler I decided to just do some pre-k stuff with her too.
We are all looking forward to a wonderful school year!

Nicholas on his first day of Kindergarten. So excited!

John on his first day of Pre-K.

The boys waiting at the bus stop in the morning.

Our bus stop isn't exactly close to our house. So, we came up with a fun and quick way to get there. Big brother gets to drive them on the four wheeler! Faith and I have been known to hop on too :o)

This was the first time Tyler drove them up to the bus stop. They thought it was soooo great!

Tyler working on his first day of school. He decided to take advantage of the fact he can wear comfy clothes to his "classroom".

I was told about this great web site for preschoolers. Faith loves using it.

Happy new school year!!
