Sand Dunes
Well, the day started out sunny and beautiful. Great day for a trip to the sand dunes! We noticed that it started getting more windy the closer we got to our destination. Which by the way, was two hours away from home and we were almost there. So, by the time we actually got out on the sand and were climbing the dunes it seemed like an outright sandstorm! Crazy. The kids were saying "ouch! ouch!" to all the sand that was pelting them in the legs. Mom wasn't so smart and put them in shorts thinking it was going to be nice. HA! It was still a fun trip but we will have to go again when it's not so windy.
